Workforce Studio Basic is a downloadable, offline browser-based planning tool for call-center supervisors and team leaders who need control over shifts, breaks, meals and schedule changes without a large WFM implementation.

What you can do

• Create and edit employee shifts with your own operating hours; no preset shifts are imposed.
• Define each break and meal using your own duration and earliest/latest start windows.
• Move or pin an activity; recalculate unlocked activities and see coverage changes. Undo manual changes.
• Import normalized CSV data and review staffing coverage by configured time interval.
• Add, edit or remove weekly roster entries manually; audit 7–14 day rosters for overlapping shifts, rest time, consecutive days and rolling seven-day hour/day limits that YOU specify.
• Export weekly roster and audit findings to CSV, or save your scenario JSON locally.

Before purchasing

Basic does not automatically create weekly shifts. It is a manual roster editor with an intraday break planner and configurable weekly safety checks. Direct Genesys/NICE integrations, automatic legal compliance, live adherence, multiskill forecasting, and payroll sync are NOT included. Original vendor exports must be normalized to the provided CSV format. Human supervisor review is required. Demonstration screenshots use fictional data.
